Death Rain: After World War III, the world was engulfed in nuclear winter killing most of the world’s plant life from a combination of cold and blocking of the sun, leaving the Earth a barren rock. Then the nuclear summer made the temperature shoot up and the nuclear snow turned to irradiated acid rain. The polar ice caps melted and the coasts were submerged completely. The last few survivors await the end in the few remaining shelters in the deserts, as the changing weather moves the rain even into previous arid areas of the world.
Even worse than the rain, people mutated by the fallout roam the world looking for the few remaining humans to eat. The reign of man is in its twilight; the reign of mutants is in its dawn as far as the mutants are concerned. The mutants secrete a bizarre membrane along the surface of their skin. It keeps the death rain from killing them and allows them to move through the quicksand with ease.
Can the player characters survive in a world turned against them from the very weather and environment to new mutant predators?
