Hundreds, if not thousands, of these cheap and versatile spaceships have been produced over the years. They are often used as workhorse spaceships for forces on a multitude of missions. These including space port and planetary security, trade route patrols, drug interdiction, search and rescue, and defence operations.

The Milvus is an ideal first spaceship for a party of adventurers. It is not overpowered, but it can survive challenging encounters. It is also uncomfortable and cramped enough to encourage players to go looking for something better, to go looking for adventure.
