Masters of Fate a is handbook of character options for 5E
This can be used by any group looking for a little more variety in their characters and a few new ideas.
In this volume you will find:
The Magehand Pilferer: A sorcerous origin with a specialisation in the magehand spell. This is a titally underutilised spell that has no where near the use of other cantrips such as firebolt, which gets used every round. The Magehand pilferer has more uses for the hand and more uses for their sorcery points.
Jack of the Trades: Not a specialist of any kind. A Jack of the trades is a generalist, a backup character, someone who can spicialise in a different trait every day. They can change who they are and what they can do. A whole new class, and only the second oine that makes use of intelligence.
War Druid: Some druids pay attention to the world around them. They see man as part of nature and they know he is a powerful part of it. These druids follow the circle of man and gain abilities that help them to do the fighting themselves. A new circle for humans and half humans.
Nightwatchman: A background that focuses on knowing the places and people of the city at night.
All of which are completely unrelated and not necessarily printed in that order. In my experience when new character options are grouped by theme it produces a volume that benefits one player at the table but fails to inspire others. The unrelated nature of these options allows the whole table to be inspired as the options are as different as the players.
